One visit to the Spring Lake United Pentecostal Church will convince you of our love of God and Country. In any given service you will meet people of every ethnic background and culture. Our Military community is multi-cultured and multi-racial,therefore our leadership staff and our congregation reflect that.
THE HOME OF THE BRAVE!
Pastor Chavis has a deep love and respect for our military community. He has stood by the families of our military through the Grenada conflict, Desert Shield and Desert Storm, to name a few. The strength of a pastor and church family is important when a family member is deployed to somewhere like Korea or Bosnia for six to twelve months on peace keeping missions. We currently have members that have been deployed into the Iraq and Afghanistan area in the War on Terrorism. We honor those that are serving our Country during this conflict, and we will continue to support our Troops and their families in every way we can.
Our church is located less than five minutes from Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base, so our congregation and much of our church leadership staff are active duty or retired military. We have been able to minister to countless Air Force and Army personnel in the past 30 years. Several families have returned to Spring Lake to retire because of the United Pentecostal Church and the wonderful friendships they established while stationed here. Spring Lake United Pentecostal Church is proud to be a part of this Military Community. The men and women that bravely serve our country in our armed forces will always have a special place in our hearts and prayers.
